What is our privacy goal?

The American Newsletters collects only enough information to communicate with our readers and publish our newsletters. We do not sell information to third-parties.

How do people join our mailing list?

Individuals sign up for our mailing list from our website, where they give us express permission to send them our newsletter(s). We refer anyone who wants to join our mailing list to our website. People may unsubscribe at their choosing anytime.

What information do we collect?

Readers who sign up to our newsletter send us their names and email addresses. We add this to our mailing list to publish our newsletter. We reserve the right to request and collect more information in the future. We reserve the right to remove any names or email addresses from our mailing list.

Businesses send us information that we publish in our newsletter. While we do not publish all the information we receive, we reserve the right to do so for at least 30 days or until permission is rescinded in writing, whichever is later.

Anyone who sends us information warrants that they have permission to publish it and holds the publishers, individuals working with or within, and parent company of The American Newsletters harmless and not liable for any and all information sent to us. We do not and are unable to make specific promises about the purpose or results of publication. In the event information we received is found to be untrue or misleading, we reserve all our legal rights.

What do we do with information we collect?

We do not publish the names or contact information of people on our mailing list. There may be extenuating circumstances where information may need to be shared with law enforcement, and we cooperate with these requests.

Businesses send us information for publication. We do not and are unable to guarantee publication. In general, “publication” means to summarize and send this information in an email newsletter or to display this information on our website(s).

What are the limits to our liability, including post-publication?

TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE TOTAL LIABILITY OF THE AMERICAN NEWSLETTERS, ITS PARENT COMPANY, AND ITS SUPPLIERS AND DISTRIBUTORS, FOR ANY CLAIMS, INCLUDING FOR ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES, IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT PAID US TO USE THE SERVICES (OR, IF WE CHOOSE, TO SUPPLYING THE SERVICES AGAIN).

What are cookies and do we use them?
